Problem with Mark Complete Button
If the "Mark Complete" button is not working for you, there are several possible reasons, depending on the type of content you are trying to mark complete. Below you will find troubleshooting tips based on the type of content you are working on.
Multimedia Tutorials
If you are completing a tutorial and experience a problem marking topics or lessons "complete," first make sure that you have completed any required activities on the page (such as answering a question, passing a "knowledge check," or watching a video). If you are on a page with a video, also check the "Interactive Videos" section below for some troubleshooting ideas specific to videos.
If you are sure you have completed all required activities but are still unable to mark the page or topic "complete," there is a good chance that you have a browser extension or add-on installed that is interfering with how our site works. Our site relies heavily on JavaScript, and many different types of extensions (e.g., ad blockers, privacy extensions, script managers, security extensions, and developer tools) can interfere with the JavaScript used on a website.
It can be difficult to pinpoint which extension is causing the problem (particularly if you have a lot of them installed), so the easiest thing to do is one of the following:
- Access our site using an entirely different browser (e.g., Chrome, Safari, Firefox). See instructions and options. Using a browser that does not have the same extensions installed as your current browser is your best bet.
- If you would prefer to use your current browser, open a "private" or "incognito" window or tab in your browser (instructions) and access our site from there. The private/incognito browser mode will usually clear your cache and disable most browser extensions.
- Try disabling your browser extensions one-by-one to see if doing so fixes the problem. If you identify the extension causing the problem, you may need to disable it while using our site.

Interactive Videos
If you're completing an interactive video and are not able to click the "Mark Complete" button, please try the following:
- Make sure you let the video play to the very end. Stopping it even a second or two before it reaches the end will prevent the "Mark Complete" button from being enabled.
- If the "Mark Complete" button is still not enabled after letting the video play to the end, try refreshing the page and then clicking the "play" button in the video control bar. Sometimes this will enable the "Mark Complete" button.
If neither of these strategies helps, please contact us and we'll help you troubleshoot further.
Article Quizzes
If you are completing an article quiz and experience a problem marking the module "complete," first make sure that you have earned a passing score (90% or higher) on the quiz. Note that some questions are worth multiple points (particularly questions with multiple correct answers and a "check all that apply" instruction), so the number of points possible/earned will not always be equal to the number of questions. If you are certain you have earned a passing score but the "mark complete" button is still not enabled, please take a screenshot showing your score and the disabled button and send it to us so that we can manually mark the module "complete" for you.
